“Growing up in the South Wales Valleys,uk,I never considered studying the arts.”

I had an interest in art at school and in particular pencil and pastels. At age 16 life introduced itself and I was flung into the world of work. Later, after a successful sporting career I found something that reignited my passion for art.

In 2008, during a trip to Nepal and the Himalayas, I started to dabble in photography, especially people and portraits. I was hooked and in 2016 I co-founded Skint Creative Studio of which I work out of today. I believe that the world today, with all of its technology and mass production is too fast and disposable. I think people often want to move on to the next bigger and better thing without stopping to enjoy the now. I sometimes feel that I was born a hundred years too late. Maybe this is why I see beauty, depth and quality in things from the past.
